Covering the areas of piano performance and music theory, the Piano Course emphasizes the development of the piano technique in a social environment. Join a piano class that is fun and far from ordinary!

Learn the basics of guitar playing before moving into one of our exciting ensembles. This class will cover the fundamentals of guitar playing in a fun environment.

Whether you’re an experienced songwriter or a beginner with a creative inclination, this is the class for you. Workshop your songs in a collaborative environment, get crucial feedback from instructors and peers alike, and let your voice be heard.
Drum set (Placement by age & ability) ![]()
Gives students the opportunity to apply their rhythmic knowledge to the entire drum set. We will use contemporary and in order to develop an understanding of the drummer’s role in a band. The students will focus on coordination techniques as well as drum rudiments in order to build the confidence to play different styles of music. Grab your sticks, LETS GO!
World Drumming/Kids Drum Circle (6–11) ![]()
Build your team, explore your city and find your rhythm in this musically cultural class. Using percussion, this class will connect you with your culture (no matter where you are from) your classmates and most importantly, yourself!
The Beat Farm, Electronic Music (12 & up) ![]()
The Intro DJ/electronic music course is designed to give you a glimpse into the techniques you can master as a Beat Farm student. We will touch on the History, Culture, and the Art of the DJ, as well as possible career paths. Basic equipment functions along with Scratch Live®, and Abeldon LIVE® the industry standard Beat Making software will be introduced. Working with a professional DJ on individual work stations, students get hands on training in Scratching, Mixing, and Blending and beat creating techniques. There are no prerequisites and no previous DJ/Audio technology experience required. Upon finishing this course, our goal is to prepare you for one of our next courses: Basic Mixing and DJ Techniques or Basic Scratching and Turntablism.
All classes are $30/class paid monthly. Musical theater and drama programs may be paid for by the class for $35/class. Audition and performance programs are free with acceptance as long as you meet the performance and rehearsal requirements and are enrolled in another class. Otherwise, the performance ensembles are $200 for the semester.
